Apprenticeships allow students to get experience working in their chosen career field. Austin Community College District (ACC) hosts a series of events to celebrate National Apprenticeship Week, November 13-19, 2023. 

The following virtual and in-person Apprenticeship Week events are open to ACC faculty, staff, and students interested in learning more about ACC’s Earn and Learn programs.

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 13 | ACC APPRENTICESHIP OPEN HOUSE

Students are encouraged to stop by the Apprenticeship information booths during this open house to learn all about the current and upcoming apprenticeship programs.

Time: 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Location: ACC Highland Campus, Building 1000, 2nd Floor

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 15 | APPRENTICESHIP 101 PRESENTATION 

Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to join this online general Apprenticeship presentation on past, current, and upcoming Apprenticeship programs at ACC.

Time:  3 – 4 p.m.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 16 | VETERINARY DEPARTMENT TOUR & INFO SESSION

Students and employers are encouraged to drop in and learn how to be part of the growing Veterinary Assistant Apprenticeship Program.

Times:
3 – 4 p.m. – Open House and Tour
4 – 5 p.m. – Employer Info Session
5 – 6 p.m. – Student Info Session
Location: ACC Riverside Campus, Building E
