Now is the time to plan for Summer 2024 registration at Austin Community College District (ACC). The summer semester begins Tuesday, May 28, with 5-, 9-, and 10-week class options. 

Summer registration begins for current and former students on Monday, April 1, and opens to everyone on Friday, April 5. New students should APPLY first and then REGISTER for classes.

Students are encouraged to register early because high-demand classes are filling up fast. ACC staff are ready to work with students 1-on-1. 

Spring 2024 registration numbers continue to rebound, growing 7% per semester credit hour compared to spring 2023 and 9% compared to spring 2022, as of March 3. More students are choosing to be in-person with face-to-face enrollments up 9.9%. Online class enrollment is up by 4%. ACC is seeing increased credit hour enrollments in key areas of study, including:

• Computer Science and Information Technology (5.8%),
• Public and Social Services (6.7%),
• Science, Engineering, and Math (0.3%%), and 
• Liberal Arts (7.7%)

ACC’s summer schedule includes a variety of options to fit all schedules. Students get free access to the college’s full suite of student support services and student life activities throughout the semester.
