If you are looking to start at Austin Community College District (ACC) this spring, now is the perfect time to take action. With registration kicking off on October 14 for current students and October 18 for new students, the sooner you apply, the better prepared you’ll be. Classes start on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, for the 16-week and first 8-week sessions, and on Monday, March 24, 2025, for the second 8-week session.

The application process can take some time to get through, so the College encourages new students to start applying now to make sure you’re ready to register when it opens for all students.
Planning for spring registration isn’t something you have to tackle alone. Now is an excellent time to contact academic advisors, faculty members, or peers for guidance and support. ACC offers 1-on-1 help to get the classes you need.

Important Spring 2025 Dates
For spring 2025, registration dates are based on the number of ACC course credits a student has completed. Current and former students with 60 or more ACC credit hours, along with parenting students, can begin registering on the first day of registration, Monday, October 14, allowing them extra time to secure their classes. ACC Free Tuition Program
Did you recently graduate from an ACC service area high school or earn your TX GED® on or after July 1, 2023? You may qualify for ACC’s Free Tuition program, covering tuition costs and general fees for at least three years. This financial support, on top of any scholarships and aid you receive, makes starting college at ACC an affordable choice.
