Austin Community College District (ACC) is rolling out the red carpet for more than 3,940 graduates at its Fall 2024 Commencement Ceremony—a record-breaking number of candidates, up 5% from last fall.

“I am filled with pride, seeing the incredible progress all these graduates made toward their dreams. This time of year fills me with joy as we witness their hard work come to fruition,” says ACC Chancellor Dr. Russell Lowery-Hart. “ACC continues to see more students crossing the stage every ceremony. I am so proud of the work we are doing as a college as part of our goal to bring completions to 70% by 2030. We believe in the transformative power of education and are committed to ensuring every student has the support and opportunities they need to finish what they’ve started and thrive in the future.”

The fall ceremony recognizes graduates from the summer and fall semesters. ACC’s celebration honors those who have completed an associate degree, bachelor’s degree, workforce certificate, or high school equivalency program.
