Plan Ahead for Fall 2025 Registration at Austin Community College

With enrollment at Austin Community College (ACC) rising by more than 10% last academic year and expectations for continued growth, now is the time to plan for fall 2025. Early registration gives access to a broader selection of classes and allows students to create a schedule that works for them.

New students should APPLY first and then REGISTER for classes.

Fall 2025 Registration Schedule:

  • Monday, May 12 – Students with 60+ ACC Credit Hours & Parenting Students
  • Tuesday, May 13 – Students with 45+ Credit Hours
  • Wednesday, May 14 – Students with 30+ Credit Hours
  • Thursday, May 15 – Students with 15+ Credit Hours
  • Friday, May 16 – Registration opens to all students

The ACC Board of Trustees recently voted to maintain tuition and fees for the 12th consecutive year. In-district students pay just $85 per credit hour, one of the most competitive rates in Texas.

ACC offers a wide range of course formats to support student flexibility. Options include in-person, online (asynchronous and synchronous), hybrid, and hy-flex courses. Short semester formats allow students to complete some classes in as little as 8, 12, or 14 weeks.

Students are encouraged to meet with an academic advisor to review academic plans and enroll in the right courses. Support is available in person and virtually through ACC’s Advising, Admissions, Financial Aid, and Learning Lab teams. Students can access help and schedule appointments at austincc.edu/help

High school students graduating this May and those who completed their GED® in the past year, might be eligible for the Free Tuition Pilot Program. The five-year initiative offers free tuition and general fees for eligible high school and GED® graduates from the ACC service area, starting with the class of 2024 through 2028.

The fall 2025 semester begins Monday, August 25. For more information, visit austincc.edu/howtoregister.
