Austin Community College District (ACC) is helping students take their next step into the live music industry through a unique partnership with Austin City Limits Music Festival, produced by C3 Presents. Together, the two will host the second annual ACL Fest Career Fair.
ACL Fest Career Fair
Date: Wednesday, September 3
Time: 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Location: ACC Highland Campus
RSVP: Link Here
The free event, developed in partnership with ACC Career Services, is designed to give students and community members direct access to professionals across the live music and festival ecosystem. Attendees can connect with C3 Presents departments, music festival vendors, and local venues to learn about their work, explore employment opportunities, and build connections within Austin’s thriving entertainment community.
“Opportunities like this job fair show the power of partnerships in action. ACC is committed to giving students real-world experiences and meaningful connections that can open doors to exciting careers,” said Trish Welch, ACC Career Services director. “Thanks to C3 Presents, our students and job seekers get direct access to industry leaders and a chance to explore what’s possible in live music and entertainment. Together, we’re building pathways that help students turn their passion into a profession.”
This year’s vendors represent a wide range of trades and specialties that bring festivals and concerts to life, including event security and staffing, food and beverage operations, guest services, ticketing, marketing, public relations, broadcast and video production, staging, lighting, and venue management. Local Austin venues like the Moody Center and Stubb’s Bar-B-Q will also be present.
“Festivals rely on thousands of people working behind the scenes in roles that most fans never see,” said Emmett Beliveau, COO of C3 Presents. “The ACL Fest Career Fair is about shining a light on those jobs and creating pathways into the industry far beyond the stage. With ACC as a partner, we’re able to give students and community members the opportunity to meet the people who make Austin’s live music scene possible, broaden access to these careers, and support the next generation of creative leaders shaping the future of live events.”
C3 has hosted career fairs in Chicago for its Lollapalooza and Sueños festivals since 2022, offering students unique access to industry professionals. Following the success of last year’s inaugural Austin event, the company is bringing the ACL Fest Career Fair back for a second year.
