The program invites students, faculty, and community members to join small group discussions led by ACC students and faculty. Conversations will draw from the Declaration of Independence and the writings of Frederick Douglass, Abraham Lincoln, Barbara Jordan, and Gloria Anzaldúa. The format is inspired by ACC’s Great Questions Community Seminar, which encourages participants to engage with foundational texts in a collaborative setting.
Following the discussions, elected officials and community leaders will share reflections on what they heard and learned during the exchange. This dynamic format offers attendees the chance to engage directly with lawmakers, judges, commissioners, and other civic leaders.
