Dozens of students, employees, families, and community partners gathered at ACC Highland to celebrate a major milestone — R.B. the Riverbat’s 15th birthday. The celebration took place in the Paseo at Highland Campus, where ACC’s beloved mascot was joined by an all-star lineup of special guests from across Central Texas.
The event brought together an impressive roster of mascots, including:
- Hook ’em – The University of Texas at Austin
- Verdisimo – Austin FC
- Spike – Round Rock Express
- Fang – Austin Ice Bats
- George the W.A.T.C.H.D.O.G. – Dads of Great Students
- Slushie – Sonic
- Hippie the Hummingbird – Zilker Park
- The Wildcat & Elgin High School cheerleaders
- Kazoo – Epic Entertainment
- Vortex – Concordia University
- Ringo – Texas Stars
Together, the mascots brought the energy — kicking off the party with a mini parade through the Paseo, a playful musical chairs showdown, and a class for all the mascots to learn the official R.B. Step.
R.B.’s birthday marks 15 years since the Riverbat became ACC’s official mascot. He was created to symbolize community, connection, and the vibrant spirit that unites Riverbats across Central Texas.
