Meet Parker G., one of ACC’s Fall 2025 graduates

A young man stands outdoors, smiling proudly while wearing a black graduation gown and cap. He has curly hair and is adorned with a purple and gold honor cord and sash that reads "HONOR SCHOLAR." The background features a modern architectural setting with blurred structures and greenery.

This fall, Parker G. will be one of more than 4,440 students at the Fall 2025 Commencement Ceremony. He joined ACC in 2023 and is set to graduate with his associate degree in Government, followed by Paralegal Studies in the spring. As a first-generation American and college student, he’s already making a profound impact on campus and beyond.

This summer, Parker was one of just 24 community college students nationwide selected as a Summer Scholar at the Chautauqua Institution, a fully funded, weeklong leadership and civic engagement program in New York. The experience opened new doors, expanded his network, and inspired the next steps of his academic journey.

Read more about Parker’s story, including the life-changing opportunity he took part in over the summer.

ACC invites the community to help celebrate Parker and all fall 2025 graduates. He will walk the stage on Thursday, December 11, at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park. Share your congratulations on the ACC Congrats Grads Padlet Wall.
