Austin Community College District (ACC) is now recruiting students for its 2026 Global Learning Student Ambassador (GLSA) Program. It is an opportunity for students to represent the College while gaining international exposure and leadership experience.

The GLSA Program is designed to foster cultural competency, global awareness, and meaningful connections between students from different countries and backgrounds. It connects ACC students with short-term international visitors and globally focused campus initiatives. 

Participants will:

• Serve as peer guides and cultural connectors
• Welcome and engage with visiting international student groups
• Support cross-cultural exchange and campus activities
• Gain experience in citizen diplomacy and leadership

The opportunity is open to a broad range of students, including international students enrolled at ACC who are interested in serving as cultural ambassadors and supporting fellow global learners.

Each ambassador will receive a certificate of participation documenting volunteer hours, a program T-shirt, and invitations to exclusive social events with visiting groups. A minimum commitment of two volunteer hours is required.
