UPDATE: Due to the weather, this event has been canceled.
Bring your friends and family to check out the stars at Space Night at the ACC Round Rock Campus.
Date: Friday, May 1
Time: 6 – 9:30 p.m.
Location: ACC Round Rock Campus
While the sun is up, you can take part in daytime solar viewing and see some sunspots. As the night goes on, teams will host interactive activities and experiments. ACC’s Physics & Astronomy Outreach Program teams will host family-friendly experiments at the event. You can also take part in a special science talk with our astronomy experts.
When darkness sets in (weather permitting), you’ll get the chance to look through 11-inch telescopes to see planets and other objects in the night sky, with guidance from astronomy faculty and volunteers.
The event is free and open to all.
