Austin is a top 15 U.S. city for manufacturing jobs
Austin Community College (ACC) and the Austin Regional Manufacturers Association (ARMA) host the Skill-up: Manufacturing open house to connect students and the community to training programs and careers in Austin’s $12.3 billion manufacturing industry.

Time: 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Location: Riverside Campus, Frank Squires Building | 1020 Grove Blvd.
Participants can explore live demonstrations, learn about training programs at ACC, network with employers, and discuss job openings.
Manufacturing careers have grown almost 20 percent in the last five years. Professionals can earn around $75,000 a year to design and build things like medical devices, sensors, automation, solar energy equipment, and robotics.
