ACC Hosts Adulting 101 to Help Students Build Real-World Life Skills

Free event at Hays Campus offers hands-on workshops in financial health, career readiness, and well-being

Austin Community College District (ACC) invites students and community members to the annual Adulting 101 event. The free one-day experience offers workshops and sessions to support students inside and outside the classroom with essential life skills.

Date: Friday, March 6
Time: 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Location: ACC Hays Campus, 200 Kohlers Crossing, Kyle, Texas

The event features interactive workshops and learning tracks focused on financial management, physical wellness, and mental health. Sessions will explore topics such as financial literacy, mental and physical health, and equipping participants with practical strategies they can use immediately.

Participants can expect:

  • Financial literacy guidance, including budgeting and credit basics
  • Resources for mental health, stress management, and healthy living
  • Physical wellness through understanding how to interact with law enforcement
  • Free lunch, giveaways, and door prizes

Adulting 101 is free and open to the community. Registration is encouraged but not required.
