Celebrate RB and ACC on Riverbat Day Nov. 18

RB the Riverbat is turning 5 and Austin Community College wants students, faculty, and staff to help its beloved mascot celebrate!

Wednesday, November 18 is Riverbat Day!

On Wednesday, November 18, RB will kick off his collegewide birthday celebration at Riverside Campus, where the day officially will be proclaimed as “ACC Riverbat Day” for the City of Austin.

Guests will have a chance to take their photo with the birthday bat and enjoy party treats.

RB takes flight

Following the brief party at Riverside, RB will cruise around the city in his special ride (courtesy Henna Chevrolet), inviting others to celebrate ACC and higher education. Stops include Allison Elementary school and a few of RB’s ACC campus homes.

Join the fun

The Office of Student Life will spread birthday cheer at all ACC campuses. Look for party pic opportunities, cupcakes, and party favors.
