Fall Registration Campaigns Shift into High Gear

A series of new ads highlights the advantages of ACC.

Summer may have barely started, but fall registration is underway, and ACC is launching a number of programs to help the college reach enrollment targets.

This registration season, the college is focused on driving enrollment to the new Elgin Campus and positioning ACC as the premier institution for workforce education and university transfer to prospective students, in addition to increasing retention and enrollments overall.

The college is taking steps to meet these goals with layered communications and programs that pull together ACC resources and engage students in the registration process, such as the ACC Elgin College Fair and a fresh marketing campaign that highlights career training and ACC’s outstanding reputation for university transfer.

The college also will again offer the ACC 1-on-1 program to provide students with face-to-face assistance.

“We saw tremendous success with the hands-on approach of the ACC 1-on-1 pilot and collaboration among departments” says Patty Salazar, director of enrollment management. “We’re continuing this model through the fall registration period to support our students in the best way possible.”

Registration for current students began May 13 and opens to new students June 10. The fall semester begins Aug. 26.

Faculty and staff can direct students to view the fall schedule and register online. ACC’s registration helpline provides additional assistance.

Fall in-district tuition is $67 per credit hour, making ACC the most affordable institution of higher education in the area. The college offers payment plans that allow students to spread the cost of tuition and fees over the term.

Registration resources can be found at austincc.edu/register.
