Texas law requires many incoming college students to be vaccinated against bacterial meningitis or to provide an exemption request declining the vaccine. There is a new procedure for obtaining an exemption for reasons of conscience.<\/p>\n
All new students who wish to obtain this exemption must request the form from the Texas Department of State Health Services<\/a>. After you submit the online request, the form will arrive by mail in 5-7 business days.
