In addition to several state, city, and county contests, voters will elect members to ACC&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.austincc.edu\/board\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Board of Trustees<\/a> and decide three measures involving the college: two bond propositions and a proposal to raise the cap on the college&#8217;s maintenance and operations tax rate.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Bond, tax cap election information<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The ACC <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.austincc.edu\/bond\/\">Bond and Tax Cap Election<\/a> website includes detailed information about the three proposals.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.austincc.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/81\/2014\/09\/Bond_Sidebar_220x145.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-28725\" style=\"border: 1px solid black\" title=\"Bond_Sidebar_220x145\" src=\"https:\/\/sites.austincc.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/81\/2014\/09\/Bond_Sidebar_220x145.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>Projects in Proposition 1 include but are not limited to ACC Highland Phase II, a Leander campus, and land for a future workforce center.<strong> <\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Projects in Proposition 2 include but are not limited to older campus renovations and training facilities at Hays and Elgin campuses.<\/li>\n<li>Revenue from the tax cap increase would fund existing projects and new initiatives, relieve pressure to raise tuition, and help hire and retain high-caliber faculty and staff.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Board of Trustees election<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>View <a href=\"http:\/\/www.austincc.edu\/newsroom\/index.php\/2014\/08\/20\/the-ballot-is-set-for-accs-board-of-trustees-election\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The ballot is set for ACC&#8217;s Board of Trustees election<\/a> for information about the trustee candidates.
