{"id":34330,"date":"2015-05-12T12:43:34","date_gmt":"2015-05-12T12:43:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.austincc.edu\/newsroom\/?p=34330"},"modified":"2015-05-13T13:40:34","modified_gmt":"2015-05-13T13:40:34","slug":"acc-honors-graduates-at-spring-commencement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.austincc.edu\/newsroom\/2015\/05\/12\/acc-honors-graduates-at-spring-commencement\/","title":{"rendered":"ACC honors graduates at spring commencement"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong><em>Ceremony includes college\u2019s first early college high school graduates<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Austin Community College District (ACC) will celebrate its spring graduates during commencement at 6 p.m., Thursday, May 14, at the Frank Erwin Center (1701 Red River St.).<\/p>\n<p>The ceremony honors students who have completed ACC\u2019s associate degree and certificate programs for the spring semester.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is an exciting time for our students,\u201d says Dr. Richard Rhodes, ACC president\/CEO. \u201cOur students have worked hard and made sacrifices to reach this point, and the college is proud of all of their accomplishments.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The college will recognize 13 students from the first cohort of the early college high school program who will graduate with an Associate of Arts.
