Faculty and staff are invited to explore ways to better prepare students for higher education at Austin Community College\u2019s first AustinED Summit Thursday, June 11, at Riverside Campus.<\/p>\n
The daylong summit, \u201cSharing the Learning Journey,\u201d brings together representatives from secondary and postsecondary schools to share best practices for improving student success from middle school through college.<\/p>\n
Speakers include Dr. Mark Milliron, co-founder and chief learning officer of Civitas Learning, and Austin ISD Superintendent Dr. Paul Cruz. Administrators, faculty, and staff from both ACC and area ISDs will lead breakout sessions.
