Faculty, staff, and alumni: Register to participate on the Operation Riverbats<\/a> webpage.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Austin Community College faculty, staff, students, and alumni are invited to spend a week giving back to their community as they connect with fellow Riverbats at the second annual Operation Riverbats October 22-30.<\/p>\n Classes, organizations, friends, and individuals can share the Riverbat spirit through more than 80 volunteer opportunities with more than 40 organizations<\/a>.<\/p>\n In its inaugural year, Operation Riverbats volunteers spent two days boxing meals for the Capital Area Food Bank of Texas<\/a>, preparing lunches at Caritas of Austin<\/a>, leading a game hour at the Austin Resource Center for the Homeless<\/a>, and sharing dinner and activities with families and children through Foundation for the Homeless<\/a>.
