ACC\u2019s intramural basketball all-stars will face off against Australia\u2019s Mornington Breakers 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, December 7, at the Gus Garcia Recreation Center (1201 E. Rundberg Lane).<\/p>\n
The sixth annual exhibition basketball game is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis game puts a spotlight on our players and their talents,\u201d says Tracy Partin, ACC intramural sports & recreation coordinator. \u201cIt\u2019s a true honor to be selected to play. These players exhibit high character, leadership, sportsmanship, and advanced skills.<\/p>\n
Sponsored by ACC Student Life, the college\u2019s intramural sports\u00a0take place in\u00a0fall and spring, with registration opening the first week of each semester.<\/p>\n
More than 80 students are involved in the intramurals league. Sports include basketball, men\u2019s and women\u2019s soccer, coed softball, and flag football.<\/p>\n
