Applications are now being accepted for Austin Community College\u2019s (ACC) summer 2017 Study Abroad programs.<\/p>\n
ACC Study Abroad programs are held during the first session of the summer semester. Programs are two to four weeks in length, beginning with intensive course work at ACC campuses before students travel to the program\u2019s country for a deeply involved cultural and academic experience.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe ACC study abroad experience unlocked my potential for growth by exposing me to an international culture for the first time and fully immersing me in the language I\u2019m learning,\u201d says Silver Spirit, a former Spanish IV participant. \u201cWhat I have gained from this program is invaluable and I\u2019ll always cherish those memories.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cACC study abroad programs offer a great opportunity to combine academic study and international travel for a unique learning experience,\u201d says William Hayden, ACC International Programs director. \u201cStudy abroad is a valuable way to build confidence and develop skills essential to academic and workforce success.\u201d<\/p>\n
