Daedelus), presents \u201cFrom Studio to Stage to Studio\u201d on February 17.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Austin Community College students, faculty, and staff are invited to learn how technology and art can be combined to spark ingenuity and innovation at the spring <a href=\"http:\/\/researchguides.austincc.edu\/DATForum\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Digital Art + Technology Forum<\/a> speaker series.<\/p>\n<p>The series features visiting artists\/technologists\/makers who will discuss how the availability of open-source technology is impacting the creative world. Speakers will present their work, offer tips, and discuss real-world uses of open-source technologies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe want to demystify STEM\/STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) ideology by showing real-world examples of maker success,\u201d says Meason Wiley, coordinator of ACC\u2019s BatLab Makerspace.<\/p>\n<p>All sessions are 7 -9 p.m. at the Highland Campus Social Staircase.
