College staff will be present to answer questions about the enrollment process, financial aid, and adult education, including the ESL\/ESOL and GED programs. Los Texas Wranglers, the McCallum High School Ballet Folklorico, and the Ortega Elementary School Superstar Choir will provide entertainment. There also will be children\u2019s activities including a special visit by Tony Maxironi, the balloon-twisting Texas Clown. In fall 2016, ACC enrolled 14,840 Hispanic credit students, 36 percent of the credit student body (a 4 percent increase from fall 2015). The college is certified as a Hispanic Serving Institution, a federal designation indicating the college maintains 25 percent or greater full-time equivalent Hispanic enrollment.<\/p>\n<p>The event is free and open to the public.
