She also was impressed by the resources at ACC Highland, such as the Bioscience Incubator and the ACCelerator, and the campus spaces that allow interaction between students and faculty.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat, I think, is the heart of your great system,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Sarwar said economic trends and changing attitudes are drawing more Pakistani women to the workforce. Her college is introducing programs for information technology and accounting\/finance, as well as mass media, fine arts, and textile design.<\/p>\n<p>Sarwar\u2019s visit was organized by ACC\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.austincc.edu\/degrees-and-certificates\/find-classes\/study-abroad\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">International Programs Office<\/a> and sponsored by the <a href=\"https:\/\/liberalarts.utexas.edu\/southasia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">South Asia Institute<\/a> at the University of Texas at Austin. She is the third Pakistani college principal to visit ACC this spring.
