This statement includes information about current benefits, benefits options, and any premium or benefit changes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Review your PBES carefully.<\/strong> If you do not wish to make changes, no action is needed and your current benefits elections will roll over to the plan year beginning September 1.<\/p>\n<p>Note: The PBES statement does not reflect the total premium cost for dental, optional life, and AD&amp;D coverage for full-time employees. ACC pays some or all of these costs. A statement showing total benefits costs can be viewed in Online Services.<\/p>\n<p>Take note of these changes:<\/p>\n<h2><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-43290\" src=\"https:\/\/sites.austincc.edu\/newsroom\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/81\/2017\/05\/bcbstxlogo.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"254\" height=\"46\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sites.austincc.edu\/newsroom\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/81\/2017\/05\/bcbstxlogo.png 254w, https:\/\/sites.austincc.edu\/newsroom\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/81\/2017\/05\/bcbstxlogo-150x27.png 150w, https:\/\/sites.austincc.edu\/newsroom\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/81\/2017\/05\/bcbstxlogo-250x46.png 250w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 254px) 100vw, 254px\" \/><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>BlueCross BlueShield of Texas replaces UnitedHealthcare as medical plan administrator on September 1.<\/li>\n<li>New ID cards will be sent to HealthSelect and Consumer Directed HealthSelect participants by August 31.<\/li>\n<li>New prescription drug plan ID cards will be mailed by OptumRx to HealthSelect participants by August 31. The cards have a new phone number.<\/li>\n<li>Premiums will increase slightly for these plans: HealthSelect, Consumer Directed HealthSelect, and State of Texas Dental Choice.<\/li>\n<li>The TIPP Short-Term Disability plan premium will decrease slightly.<\/li>\n<li>WageWorks replaces ADP as the administrator for TexFlex Flexible Spending Accounts and Commuter Spending Accounts.<\/li>\n<li>Premiums and plan benefits for all other insurance plans will not change.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Attend Summer Enrollment Fair July 13<\/h2>\n<p>The annual ERS Summer Enrollment Fair is Thursday, July 13, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Highland Business Center. ERS will give a presentation at 10:30 a.m. in Room 201. ERS representatives and plan vendors will be available to answer questions. Information also is available on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ers.state.tx.us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ERS website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>\u201cI didn\u2019t know that\u201d<\/h2>\n<p>Each week, the HR Benefits Office helps dozens of employees with their benefits questions and needs. Hardly a day goes by without someone uttering the words above. One of this month\u2019s most popular questions:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><em>Question: <\/em>I need to start saving more toward retirement. Can I put more money into my TRS account?<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><em>Answer: <\/em>No, but you can contribute to a voluntary pre-tax savings plan through a Tax-Sheltered Account &#8212; 403(b)-TSA &#8212; or a Deferred Compensation Plan &#8212; 457-DCP. These are good options that have been offered almost as long as ACC has existed. Bell at 512-223-7997 or <a href=\"mailto:nbell2@austincc.edu\">nbell2@austincc.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>PEP evaluation system live through August 4<\/h2>\n<p>The online <a href=\"https:\/\/eapps.austincc.edu\/pep\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Performance Excellence Program<\/a> (PEP) system is open and accepting annual performance evaluations for non-faculty employees.\u00a0Supervisors must complete all evaluations by Friday, August 4.
