{"id":44224,"date":"2017-08-17T14:52:11","date_gmt":"2017-08-17T14:52:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.austincc.edu\/newsroom\/?p=44224"},"modified":"2017-08-17T16:38:20","modified_gmt":"2017-08-17T16:38:20","slug":"acc-tache-chapter-awards-20-student-scholarships","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.austincc.edu\/newsroom\/2017\/08\/17\/acc-tache-chapter-awards-20-student-scholarships\/","title":{"rendered":"ACC TACHE chapter awards 20 student scholarships"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For the third consecutive year, the Texas Association of Chicanos in Higher Education (TACHE) &#8211; Austin Community College Chapter awarded scholarships to help students of Latino descent achieve a higher education.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs mentors we support the students\u2019 needs to navigate through their college experience and we remain in contact with them at least once a month,\u201d says Leticia Gonzalez, ACC TACHE mentor. \u201cWe provide networking opportunities to connect the ACC Chapter to fellow chapters throughout the state.
