{"id":44938,"date":"2017-11-17T20:35:25","date_gmt":"2017-11-17T20:35:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.austincc.edu\/newsroom\/?p=44938"},"modified":"2017-11-17T20:35:25","modified_gmt":"2017-11-17T20:35:25","slug":"acc-faculty-create-deeper-connection-with-four-year-university-partners","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.austincc.edu\/newsroom\/2017\/11\/17\/acc-faculty-create-deeper-connection-with-four-year-university-partners\/","title":{"rendered":"ACC faculty create deeper connection with four-year university partners"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Faculty, administrators, and advisors spent an afternoon exploring transfer options with nearby four-year institutions at the University Partnership Summit Friday, November 10. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Hosted by the <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/tled.austincc.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Teaching &amp; Learning Excellence Division (TLED)<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, the summit provided an opportunity for faculty to engage in deeper conversations with partners at Huston-Tillotson, Texas State, Concordia, and St. Edward&#8217;s University.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Discussions covered the transferability of ACC programs to four-year institutions including the alignment of degree plans to eliminate excess credits and financial aid overlap.
