\"\"<\/a>Austin Community College (ACC) invites the community to lace up their running shoes to help support ACC students at the fourth annual <\/span>ACC Fairway 5K Cross Country Run & Walk<\/span><\/a> on Sunday, March 4, from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Riverside Golf Course (1020 Grove Blvd.).<\/span><\/p>\n

Participants may run, walk, or jog the timed 5K route, which passes around the greens and crosses over grass, trails, and cart paths. <\/span><\/p>\n

Every participant that crosses the finish line will earn an ACC Presidential Finishers Medal Award.<\/span><\/p>\n

Proceeds from race registration benefit the newly created ACC Fairway 5K Cross Country Scholarship: Benefiting the Physical Therapy Assistant Program.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHaving the race on a historic golf course makes the route an entertaining challenge while promoting health and wellness in the community,\u201d says Guadalupe Mendoza, ACC race director. \u201cThis race is also a fun way to help ease the financial burden of higher education through scholarships, ultimately helping more students meet their goals.\u201d<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n
