Take an inside look at the field of sonography with renowned social media influencer and sonographer, KristyDMS.<\/a> Austin Community College District (ACC) is teaming up with BB Imaging to host a special, interactive meet-and-greet, and you\u2019re invited.<\/p>\n

Date:<\/strong> Friday, April 5
Time: <\/strong>1 – 3 p.m.
Location: <\/strong>Round Rock Campus, Building 3000<\/p>\n

First, ACC sonography students are invited to participate in an ultrasound scanning session with KristyDMS. This hands-on experience will give students a firsthand glimpse into the practical aspects of sonography. <\/p>\n

Next, students and the community are invited to a special meet-and-greet presentation. The event includes a Q&A session, raffle drawing, and networking opportunities. <\/p>\n

With the demand for healthcare professionals on the rise, the role of sonographers is becoming increasingly crucial. In Austin alone, there are currently over 160 job postings for sonographers, indicating a strong demand in the region. Texas employment trends project a staggering 29% growth in the need for sonographers from 2020 to 2030.<\/p>\n
