Austin Community College District (ACC) hosts an art exhibition honoring the works of Texas native and internationally acclaimed Southwest artist Amado Pe\u00f1a at ACC Highland Campus. Pe\u00f1a\u2019s high-anticipated mural at ACC Highland \u2014 \u2018Bridges to Success\u2019 \u2014 will be unveiled. <\/p>\n
Date:<\/strong> Tuesday, September 20 Commissioned in 2017, \u2018Bridges to Success\u2019 features an artistic representation of the college’s Areas of Study with contributions from both K-12 students across Central Texas and ACC students, faculty, and staff. The mural\u2019s new home will greet students of the Fine and Performing Arts programs at the expanded ACC Highland Campus.<\/p>\n Pe\u00f1a and ACC have a long history together, partnering in the annual Boots & Bats Gala benefiting student scholars.
