The event features special demonstrations and tours of ACC\u2019s newest, state-of-the-art facilities, studios, and design labs at ACC Highland Campus, including:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Culinary kitchens\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Radio-Television-Film studios\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Photography studios<\/li>\n<li>Art galleries<\/li>\n<li>Dance studios<\/li>\n<li>Music Recital Hall and rehearsal studios<\/li>\n<li>Music Business, Performance, and Technology studios<\/li>\n<li>Visual and Game Design and motion graphics labs\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Fashion labs and incubator\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Black Box Theatre and theatre technology labs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The event also features a special forum with guest speakers who will break down this diverse and growing industry and share exciting career pathways available through low-cost training at ACC.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAustin Community College has always had dynamic and innovative programs in the fine, performing, and digital arts and we are thrilled to finally have all of these programs under one roof and to showcase them with the Creative Careers Expo. These incredible facilities will allow students to prepare for their chosen careers with the latest equipment and technology as they are instructed by award-winning faculty who are professionals in their fields,\u201d says Perry Crafton, Art &amp; Digital Media Division interim dean. \u201cAustin has always been synonymous with arts, technology, and digital media and it\u2019s through careers in the creative areas that help Austin maintain that reputation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>When<\/strong>:<br \/>Thursday, November 11 |&nbsp; 4 \u2013 6 p.m.<br \/>Saturday, November 13 | 10 a.m. \u2013 1 p.m.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Where:<\/strong><br \/>ACC Highland | 6101 Highland Campus Drive \u2013&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/d\/u\/0\/edit?mid=1cWikHzU8oj6BiO1-W8fZQ5Q8t40MEah_&amp;usp=sharing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Map<\/a><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2021 AUSTIN STUDIO TOUR<\/h3>\n<p>On Saturday, November 13, guests also can visit\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/sites.austincc.edu\/adm\/austin-studio-tours-2021\/\">ACC\u2019s inaugural art exhibitions at Highland<\/a>\u00a0during the\u00a02021 Austin Studio Tour. Opportunities include ACC\u2019s Juried Student Art Exhibition, the Strictly Abstraction Faculty Art Exhibition, classes with Mark Wilson, and a ceramics sale featuring items made by students in ACC\u2019s Clay Club.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">HEALTH &amp; SAFETY PROTOCOLS<\/h3>\n<p>The events are free and open to the community and have been evaluated by ACC\u2019s Emergency Operations Center. All events will follow the college\u2019s COVID-19 health and safety protocols which include social distancing and face masks for all attendees.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Registration is strongly encouraged.
