The summer semester begins Tuesday, June 1, with 5-, 9-, and 10-week class options.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Teams are ready to work with students 1-on-1 to help them apply and register.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Summer at ACC<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ACC offers all students free access to the college\u2019s full suite of student support services and student life activities. The college also will continue to provide reserved access to on-campus computer and study spaces at key campus locations&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are four ways to learn this summer at ACC, including:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Flexible online,<\/li>\n<li>Scheduled online,<\/li>\n<li>Hybrid, and<\/li>\n<li>In-person class options.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fully online options can either be completed anytime and anywhere or you on a set schedule with live, remote classes where students can interact with other students and the instructor.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In-person options remain limited at this time. As health and safety measures allow, ACC will scale up its in-person and hybrid options. Hybrid classes offer a blend of both online and in-person components such as labs.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Paying for college<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Registered students are eligible for additional financial assistance through ACC. Students impacted by COVID-19 are encouraged to apply for the new federal <a href=\"https:\/\/www.austincc.edu\/students\/financial-aid\/coronavirus-response-and-relief-supplemental-appropriations-act\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations (CRRSA) Act.<\/a> The dollars can cover eligible expenses under a student\u2019s cost of attendance such as tuition and fees, food, housing, course materials, technology, healthcare, and child care.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ACC also provides immediate financial assistance to students who experience unexpected financial emergencies during the semester through the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.austincc.edu\/students\/student-emergency-fund\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Student Emergency Fund.&nbsp;<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For more information, visit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.austincc.edu\/campaigns\/summer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">austincc.edu\/summer<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Registration is now open for anyone looking to get ahead this summer at&nbsp; Austin Community College (ACC).
