As the graduates crossed the stage, they received a pin from nursing school faculty.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;This is one of our favorite traditions. It&#8217;s when we take a moment to pause and reflect upon the personal achievements of our students. Together, we honor and celebrate their individual journeys toward becoming a nurse,&#8221; says Pat Recek, ACC Health Sciences dean. &#8220;Nursing is a commitment to serve your community, and in Austin, it continues to be one of the largest and fastest-growing industries.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Graduates are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) to receive a license to practice as a registered nurse (RN).
