Austin Community College (ACC) invites the community to lace up their running shoes to help support ACC students at the annual ACC Fairway 5K Cross Country Run & Walk<\/a> 7:30 a.m. Sunday, March 3, at the Riverside Golf Course (1020 Grove Blvd.). <\/p>\n

\"Runners<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n

Participants may run, walk, or jog the timed 5K route, which passes around the greens and crosses over grass, trails, and cart paths. The race also includes a 15k cross-country duathlon option featuring a six-mile bike course and 3.1 mile run course.<\/p>\n

Every participant that crosses the finish line will earn an ACC Presidential Finishers Medal Award.<\/p>\n

Proceeds from race registration benefit the ACC Fairway 5K Cross Country Scholarship<\/a> supporting students enrolled in the Physical Therapy Assistant program.<\/p>\n
