Austin Community College (ACC) invites students, faculty, and their families to celebrate culture, art, religion, business, and language from across the globe at the second annual International Festival 6 p.m. Friday, March 29, at ACC Highland, Building 4000 (6101 Highland Campus Dr.).<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s important people have a chance to share different cultures, have open conversations, and explore the diversity of Austin,\u201d says Matthew Daude Laurents, ACC Liberal Arts dean. \u201cWe have a terrific lineup this year, including some return appearances and our own jazz ensemble.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sponsored by the Liberal Arts and Art & Digital Media departments, the event includes a Chinese Dragon performance and other cultural shows and demonstrations. Food and refreshments are provided.<\/p>\n
