ACC transfer students also receive special benefits including:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>5 percent discounted tuition at WGU Texas,<\/li>\n<li>Exclusive partner scholarships, valued at up to $2,000,<\/li>\n<li>Comprehensive transfer policy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a data-flickr-embed=\"true\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/accdistrict\/albums\/72157708907534828\/\" title=\"ACC &amp; WGU Texas Articulation Signing by Austin Community College, on Flickr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img src='https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/47994436403_843231cfc1.jpg' width='800' height='600' alt='ACC - WGU Articulation Signing'><\/a><script async src='https:\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js' charset='utf-8'><\/script>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWGU Texas is thrilled to partner with Austin Community College to provide more ACC students a seamless pathway to completing their bachelor\u2019s degree and preparing them to enter some of the state\u2019s most in-demand careers,\u201d says Dr. Steven Johnson, WGU Texas chancellor. \u201cCommunity colleges enroll almost half of all students in the state\u2014over 700,000 students,\u201d said Johnson. \u201cThis partnership creates an opportunity to link those students to accessible, affordable, high-quality educational opportunities that lead to great outcomes.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wgu.edu\/texas.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">WGU Texas<\/a>\u2019 current enrollment is more than 12,500 students, with nearly 700 active student transfers from ACC.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ACC alumna, Laura Gonzalez, transferred to WGU Texas to pursue her bachelor\u2019s degree in IT. She expects to graduate in December.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI fell in love with IT, but I knew that I needed a four-year degree to get to where I wanted to be,\u201d says Gonzalez. \u201cACC gave me the foundation I needed to move forward, and WGU gave me the chance to complete my program and reach my dreams.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">More than half of students enrolled at ACC have the intention of earning credits that will transfer. ACC has articulation agreements with 58 universities, including The University of Texas, Texas State University, and Texas A&amp;M University.
