ACC\u2019s Nursing Program named finalist for Best of the Best Awards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.austincc.edu\/sites\/default\/files\/Vocational%20Nursing%20Lab-scr%20%282%29.jpg\" alt=\"Vocational Nursing Lab\">Austin Community College&#8217;s Nursing Program is a finalist in the 2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/statesman.gatehousecontests.com\/2019-Best-of-the-Best\/gallery?group=325113\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Austin American-Statesman Best of the Best Awards<\/a> for nursing schools.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Voting is now open and lasts through July 27. Follow these steps to vote for ACC&#8217;s Nursing Program:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/statesman.gatehousecontests.com\/2019-Best-of-the-Best\/gallery\/?group=325113ref=vote\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Best of the Best Awards website<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Choose the &#8220;Kids &amp; Education&#8221; category.<\/li>\n<li>Select Nursing Program.<\/li>\n<li>Find ACC.<\/li>\n<li>Click the green &#8220;Vote&#8221; button in the ACC box.<\/li>\n<li>Enter your email address.<\/li>\n<li>Complete the brief registration form.<\/li>\n<li>Click submit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After voting you&#8217;ll receive a confirmation email with a link that allows you to easily log in each day to vote again.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Winners will be recognized in a special print and online section once voting has completed. ACC&#8217;s Nursing Program was a finalist in the 2018 Best of the Best and secured the most votes to win the Best of the Best title.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ACC&#8217;s Nursing Program provides a path into nursing as either a registered nurse (RN) or licensed vocational nurse (LVN). The college also offers a pathway for registered nurses to earn a bachelor&#8217;s degree in nursing through the RN-to-BSN Program. ACC is the No. 1 source of registered nurses in Central Texas. Pass rates for students taking national licensure exams average over 95 percent and consistently exceed state and national averages.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Nursing Program is offered through the college&#8217;s Health Sciences Area of Study.
