The faculty and staff in our Department provide incredible insight and training,\u201d says Tim Dittmar, department chair of MBPT. \u201cOur students are ready for jobs in live sound, audio engineering, artist management, concert promotion, and songwriting. Additionally, our program provides valuable Internships and volunteer opportunities at local businesses and music festivals.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Visitors will tour the college\u2019s state-of-the-art recording studios, music production labs, and network with faculty and staff to discuss classes and careers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to local market data, there is nearly $34 million in funding for music technology companies. Employment in music composition is projected to increase approximately nine percent in the next four years and employment in agent and music management is expected to rise nearly 12 percent on average.&nbsp; &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event is free and open to the public.
