Austin Community College District (ACC) is gradually expanding on-campus services to help enroll students for spring classes. Beginning Monday, December 7, the college will offer in-person application assistance. Visitors will be required to schedule an appointment and follow the college\u2019s COVID-19 safety protocols in order to enter the campus.<\/p>\n
\u201cDuring this time, more than ever, the digital divide is very real. Providing this in-person and on-campus access is mission critical and vital to student success,\u201d says Dr. Shasta Buchanan, ACC vice president of Student Affairs. \u201cThis is a part of our commitment to support the needs of our community as we continue our work to meet equity in access.\u201d <\/p>\n
Enrollment teams from Adult Education, Continuing Education, and Enrollment Services will rotate at the Round Rock, Highland, and Riverside campuses to meet with applicants. Thirty-minute appointments are available and must be scheduled in advance.<\/p>\n
Those who visit campus must follow ACC\u2019s COVID-19 health and safety protocols<\/a> including:<\/p>\n 1. Bring a mask and wear it properly over the nose and mouth at all times.
