This free, communitywide event offers you the opportunity to explore robotics, semiconductor technology, and hands-on training programs that can put you on the path to high-demand careers.<\/p>\n

\u201cCentral Texas is at the heart of the nation\u2019s semiconductor and advanced manufacturing growth. ACC is here to make sure our community is ready to step into those opportunities,\u201d says ACC Chancellor Dr. Russell Lowery-Hart. \u201cWhen we give students direct access to the tools and training that employers need, we\u2019re not just preparing them for great jobs. We\u2019re fueling our region\u2019s economy and building the workforce of the future.\u201d<\/p>\n

Manufacturing Open House<\/h2>\n

Location: <\/strong>ACC Highland Campus, Building 2000<\/p>\n

At the Open House, you\u2019ll tour ACC\u2019s state-of-the-art manufacturing labs and see the real equipment used in today\u2019s factories \u2014 not replicas. From robotics and automation to electronics and machine learning, you\u2019ll experience the same technology that drives Central Texas\u2019 advanced manufacturing industry.<\/p>\n

About ACC\u2019s Manufacturing Program<\/strong><\/p>\n

ACC\u2019s Advanced Manufacturing Program curriculum was built in collaboration with employers in Central Texas who are facing workforce skill shortages. They are designed to stack toward continued career advancement, with entry-level programs that can be completed in one semester or less through Continuing Education and Occupational Skills Awards. These can be stacked to an associate degree and culminate in a Bachelor\u2019s in Manufacturing Engineering Technology at ACC.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re a high school student or recent graduate, you may qualify for ACC\u2019s Free Tuition Program, making these pathways more accessible than ever.<\/p>\n
