In preparation for the future and implementation of our Theory of Change, Austin Community College District is launching a comprehensive web redesign project. It is a full redevelopment of ACC\u2019s online presence to better serve our students, employees, and community.<\/p>\n

Our website is a digital extension of the Riverbat community. It is a reflection of our brand and a primary point of contact for every employee, student, potential student, parent, business partner, and donor. This is where people form their first impressions of Austin Community College, and it is where our students find the information they need to succeed.<\/p>\n

As our largest communication channel, we want our website to reflect our values and purpose. By ensuring it is user-friendly, clear and supportive, accessible, and easy to navigate, we can create a trusted source of information for everyone. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Consistent Identity <\/h3>\n

A consistent brand identity across the ACC website builds trust and recognition, and is crucial to providing a cohesive user experience. Every image, page, and piece of content should reflect the College\u2019s brand. A consistent identity reinforces our values, fosters a sense of belonging, and sets ACC apart from the competition. <\/p>\n

User-friendly Design and Content<\/h3>\n

Developing a website for the end-user ensures visitors can understand the content and navigate with ease and confidence. It means prioritizing the needs and expectations of the target audience. <\/p>\n

Whether it\u2019s a prospective student exploring programs and services, parents seeking information, or a current student looking for support, we want the design and content to work for them.<\/p>\n

We live in a world of Amazon and Apple where the website and the entire browsing and purchase process are designed to be easy to navigate, with clear information and options available at each stage. <\/p>\n

Improved Workflow<\/h3>\n

Redesigning the back-end of our website, including the structure and content management system (CMS), will make it much easier for staff and faculty to update content with clear guidelines and training.
