Semiconductor Technician Education at ACC

ACC’s Corporate College core curriculum covers electronics, automation, and process control/troubleshooting for a total of 112 credit hours.

Semiconductor Training Series

The Semiconductor Series is the first specialty curriculum developed by ACC for the advanced technologies and manufacturing industry. The curriculum focuses on the skills that equipment and process techs need, and it consists of an additional 56 hours in training.

Semiconductor Technician Advanced Rapid Start (STARS) Program

The STARS program is a rapid upskilling program for current semiconductor workers. Developed in collaboration with the Austin Regional Manufacturing Association (ARMA) and leaders in the regional semiconductor industry – including Samsung Austin Semiconductor, NXP Semiconductors, Tokyo Electron, Infineon, and Applied Materials – STARS provides 176 hours of theoretical and hands-on training, all in a condensed 4-week, full-time schedule.

Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships are a structured way for employers to develop a highly-skilled future workforce while providing students with paid work experience and on-the-job mentorship. ACC can help you set up an apprenticeship program aligned to company hiring needs and goals.
