Welcome!

We are excited to announce our 1st ACC Student Rights and Responsibilities Conference on Friday, April 30th!

The goal is to provide the ACC community the opportunity to deepen the understanding of topics related to student rights and responsibilities (SR&R) and broaden network connections with ACC staff, faculty, and students.

We are offering three tracks – student, faculty, and general:

  • Student Track ACC students will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge in processes under the SR&R umbrella. Sessions will help students identify how to approach concerns and what questions to ask.
  • Faculty Track Whether you are a new or seasoned faculty, this track offers a variety of workshops focused on the best ways to engage with your students! Topics include de-escalating behavior to referral- among a variety of topics to explore.
  • General TrackThis track is built with students, faculty, and staff in mind. Workshops will focus on the overview of student rights and responsibilities (SR&R). Under this track, you will have the opportunity to learn about topics related to student conduct appeals, student complaints, compliance, Clery, intersections of Student Accessibility Services( SAS) and student conduct.
