Fall 2022 General Membership Meeting and Newsletter

Please come join the Adjunct Faculty Association at the Fall General Membership Meeting from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 4 for a virtual gathering of camaraderie, reflection, and exploration of our roles within the college as we learn about the proposed faculty evaluation revisions and meet the AFA Executive Council leadership.
Marcus McGuff and Gale Spear will lead a discussion on the proposed faculty evaluation revisions, which will be followed by a question and answer session. For more information about the revisions and to contribute comments, go to the Faculty Revisions Website. Additional information is available online about adjunct faculty portfolios.
After this presentation, you will have an opportunity to meet AFA Executive Council leadership, including officers and campus representatives, and chat about hot topics that affect adjuncts in a variety of breakout rooms. This will be fun and informal but will also help guide the AFAEC’s decision-making process throughout the year. If you have never before been involved in the AFA, now is the time to jump on board!
To sign up, click the link (you may have to click twice to get to the registration page in Workday) or scan the meeting QR code. Adjuncts who enroll and attend will earn two hours of professional development credit. The AFA Fall newsletter can be viewed here.
