I completed Integrated Circuit Layout and Architectural CAD certifications from ACC in 2008. I am currently working as a mask designer at Intel. I come from an architectural background and when I first joined ACC, I was looking to change my career and build on my previous skill-sets. ACC has been instrumental in providing me with the tools required to do this. Their in-depth and up-to-date coursework laid the foundation for strong fundamentals. It covered all aspects of the CAD industry, so I had the opportunity to understand all alternatives that are available in this field. The faculty and the staff in the department go out of their way to help the students, not just through their teaching, but also on a much more individual level. They provide what is required to enable success in your career goals. I got to experience this first-hand when they helped me navigate through the tough times of the downturn when jobs were few and far between. Overall, I am proud that I got a chance to be associated with ACC and the Architectural & Engineering CAD department. They get all the credit for where I am in my life today. Truly, ACC and especially the CAD department are like family to me!
