I am an older student with a learning disability and recovering from physical challenges that had kept me out of school. For me, ACC was the perfect fit. Thanks to developmental classes and the summer bridge program, I have been able to overcome many obstacles to learning. For the first time in my life I love going to class, and plan to continue my education at the UT School of Social Work next fall. My goal is to become a social worker/ licensed professional counselor so that I will be able to help others like me. Thanks ACC! I have gained confidence in my abilities and my future looks brighter than ever!
