I first enrolled at ACC in 2004. I had just graduated from high school with a 3.0 GPA, I scored a 980 on the SAT (out of 1600), and I was barely in the top 50% of my graduating class. I had no chance of getting into a major university such as UT. I went to ACC where I studied diligently and the professors and the learning center helped me to excell. At the end of my first year at ACC, I obtained a 3.96 GPA. My application and GPA proved to be sufficient for my acceptance to the University of Texas. ACC helped me to achieve a life long dream. I continued to take classes at ACC during the summers to help me graduate at a lower cost. The professors I had at ACC were some of the best professors that I have ever known. Now, I will be walking across the stage in May, and I have been accepted to law school for the fall. I have ACC to thank for contributing to my success as a student in Austin, Texas. From community college to law school, i am acc .
