I am from El Paso, TX and recently was hired to be the Student Life Assistant at the Cypress Creek Campus. During Welcome Week at my campus, our goal was to connect to the students and make them feel welcomed at ACC. I have to say that although Welcome Week was geared towards the students, I felt more welcomed than ever! Every person that I have encountered at ACC, be it staff, faculty, or students, has been welcoming, greeted me with warm smiles, and simply been a positive role model. In the one month that I have been working for ACC I feel that ACC has shown me the great things that community colleges accomplish. I am thankful for this job, and I am ACC.
