Take an inside look at the field of sonography with renowned social media influencer and sonographer, KristyDMS. Austin Community College District (ACC) is teaming up with BB Imaging to host a special, interactive meet-and-greet, and you’re invited.

Date: Friday, April 5
Time: 1 – 3 p.m.
Location: Round Rock Campus, Building 3000

First, ACC sonography students are invited to participate in an ultrasound scanning session with KristyDMS. This hands-on experience will give students a firsthand glimpse into the practical aspects of sonography. 

Next, students and the community are invited to a special meet-and-greet presentation. The event includes a Q&A session, raffle drawing, and networking opportunities. 

With the demand for healthcare professionals on the rise, the role of sonographers is becoming increasingly crucial. In Austin alone, there are currently over 160 job postings for sonographers, indicating a strong demand in the region. Texas employment trends project a staggering 29% growth in the need for sonographers from 2020 to 2030.
